Payment Protection: Low Cost Credit and Disability Insurance
There are plenty of misunderstandings about insurance, especially when it comes to credit insurance. Credit life insurance is designed to pay off the loan if the borrower dies. Credit disability insurance is designed to take over loan payments if the borrower becomes disabled.
Payment Protection Insurance is a convenient, affordable way to make sure that family or loved ones are not saddled with the burden of a debt in the event of the borrower's death or disability.
It's not expensive! The cost of credit insurance is determined only by the amount of your loan, not by your age, as with most types of insurance. Your premiums only reflect the cost to cover your loan. For convenience, your insurance premiums are included in your loan premium.
Guaranteed Auto Protection Insurance (GAP)
Because of a new vehicle's depreciation in today's marketplace, your loan or lease balance may be higher than the actual value of your car during those first few years of ownership.
If your car were stolen, or totaled in an accident, you would be liable to pay the difference between your insurance settlement and your outstanding loan or lease balance.
GAP, or Guaranteed Auto Protection, covers the difference between the market value of your vehicle and the loan or lease balance, if your vehicle is stolen or totaled. Also, in the event of a deficiency settlement, GAP will cover your insurance deductible, up to $1,000.00. Protect your auto investment by calling a loan officer at 919.684.6704 option 1.
