We would be happy to open your account in-person or you may start the joining process by submitting the membership application below. Please provide the following within 14 days of submitting your membership application:
- PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION: Send black/white photocopies of your social security card and valid driver's license/state ID to: dukefcu@duke.edu or fax (919) 660-9859. Be sure to encrypt your email before sending.
- MINIMUM DEPOSIT: $25.00 + $5.00 one-time membership fee = $30.00, may be mailed to Duke Credit Union, 2200 West Main St, Suite L100, Durham, NC 27705. Please DO NOT mail cash. Deposits may also be made in-person.
When will my account be open?
Your account will be established once you send proof of identification and your initial deposit ($30.00 minimum) within 14 days of submitting your online membership application.
PLEASE NOTE: If proof of identification and the minimum deposit are not received within 14 days of submitting your online application, the account will not be opened and the membership application will be void.
