Undergraduate Scholarship Program OPEN - Application Deadline: Friday, April 30th

Each year Duke Credit Union awards undergraduate scholarships to three (3) Duke Credit Union members or the child of a member.  The scholarships may only be applied to undergraduate education.  

Scholarship applicants that meet the below criteria are eligible to apply:

  • Duke Credit Union Member or the child of a Duke Credit Union Member*
  • High School Graduate or Impending Graduate - Spring 2021
  • Planning to enroll in college - Fall 2021 or currently enrolled
  • Good academic standing
  • Community and/or school involvement (demonstrating leadership, excellence of character and integrity)

Economic Impact Payments - January 4, 2021

If you have a question regarding your Economic Impact Payment (EIP) please visit  Everything received has been posted. On Monday, January 4, the IRS made additional information public about EIPs. The IRS did not directly acknowledge or address the erroneous EIPs by ACH that were directed to taxpayer accounts. It did say that some payments may have gone to accounts that are closed or no longer active; and that people who are eligible for an EIP that did not receive one can claim it on their 2020 tax return. Nacha estimates that, in total, as many as 13 million of the 113 million EIPs issued by ACH may be in this category.

The IRS online portal “Get My Payment” was updated on January 4 with current EIP status information. For people in the category described above, the portal will say that the status of their payment is not available.

The best information we have at this time is that all EIPs that will be sent by ACH have already been completed, with a settlement date for all of January 4. Nacha does not anticipate that any additional round two EIPs will be made by ACH. For the EIPs that are returned to the IRS, Nacha believes that the IRS will not re-issue payments by any method, but that the intended recipients will have to claim the payments on their 2020 tax returns.
